Traveling ARC Tours

I have a sad announcement to make; Sara and I have been talking and we’re going to put Traveling Arc Tours on hiatus. We’ve both been slammed by real life and unfortunately do not have the free time we did when we first started. It was a hard decision, but one we had to make. We will be finishing out all tours, but will not be accepting any new donations. We want to thank all of you for making this a fun experience and we hope to revive the tour site in the future.

So, I was wondering if there were any ARCs you guys were dying to see on the tour site. I and a few others went to BEA and I’d like to put the ones you’re dying to read up first. Leave a comment and if I have them I’ll put them up ASAP.

So, I know summer is fast approaching and I just wanted to give a reminder to let us know if you will be going on vacation. We can shift the tours around so you’re not getting books while you’re gone. It’ll keep the tours running smoothly and ensure you don’t arrive home to a pile of books! (And this will be extremely important if you’re going to BEA)

If you want to leave a comment or email us letting us know when you’re gone, we’ll do our best to make things work!

Hey all,

Just wanted to let you know that we’re changing one of the rules/procedures. Instead of leaving sign-up open for a week we’re going to drop it down to five days. The majority of you are jumping on in the first couple of days, so this will still leave some room for stragglers, but will allow the tours to get started sooner!

If a tour has low interest, we will allow people to jump on. You can always shoot us an email or we’ll do a call for anyone else before the tour ends.

Hey all,

I know a lot of you aren’t on tours because you already own the book. So, I’ve been thinking it may be nice to link to member reviews even if you weren’t on the tour. After all, it would me a better gathering of review links in one place. If any of you have reviews for tour books that you would like to add to the review archive, just leave a comment or shoot us an email!

I just wanted to let you know that Sara & I (Drea) are bringing a new person aboard to help us out. Sara is swamped with school right now and I’ll soon be with summer reader, so we thought it’d be good to have an extra set of hands. I would like everyone to welcome Sharon from Sharon Loves Books and Cats aboard!

If you have any questions/concerns, please feel free to email us! So far the tours are running smoothly and I want to thank you all for making that so!

Rules have been updated to include the following changes

• tours will be limited to 15 participates
• sign ups will be open for one week
• if more than 15 people are interested in a tour the first 8 will be guaranteed a spot, the remaining 7 will be picked randomly.
